Adult Author Event With Shani Akilah 26/06

The Little Bookshops are delighted to introduce author Shani Akilah at an event at our Chapel Allerton shop on Wednesday 26 June, 7-8 pm.

In her inspired collection of stories, For Such a Time as This, Shani Akilah explores themes of identity and community in a sparkling, thought-provoking debut ‘that gingerly guides you through the turmoil of the pandemic and sits you at the intersection of love, grief, uncertainty and the tender bonds of friendship and family.’ (Onyi Nwabineli, author of Someday, Maybe).
